Waaaay Coooooool . . .

I was looking at a website tool on this company’s page and saw something else interesting . . . went to check it out and it’s COOL!

I think it’s going to help me be more organized and productive, but if not, it’ll still be cool to show my brother when he’s visiting — that’s worth the price by itself.

Anyway, I had to share it with you! First, check out my little demo video showing how it works:

Then if you want to try it out for yourself they have a free trial), just click on this link . . .

In other news, I’ve decided to go ahead and try having a “chat night” on Wednesday at 9 PM central time. It’ll be text only (the voice broadcast system isn’t that great with the system I’m using), and the system only allows a maximum of 25 people. Let’s try it out and see how it works!

And finally, for a bit of inspiration, check out this video about “Team Hoyt”. I thought I was a good father, but I this guy taught me a few lessons . . .

That’s all for now my friends — I hope to see some of you on Wednesday’s chat!

Paul

P.S. Comments, I need comments!! ;-)

    Hey Paul-

Great tip on the DeskSpace software. My desktop is such a mess, and like you I just keep moving it all to folders which tend to get forgotten. To be able to sort and manage each desktop by what ever I may have been researching, or even to be able to sort them by any give project will be a great time saver. This also seems like a great way to FOCUS on one project at a time which tends to be a problem for me!

    Hi Paul-

When the Comcast tech came to see why I wasn’t getting a good internet signal, he told me that I had way too many icons on my desktop because each icon used up a lot of memory. Do you find this to be a problem? Will it be worse if I use DeskSpace? I really don’t think the tech is correct.

    Hi William,

I’ve got 238 icons on my desktop and haven’t noticed any related performance issues.

It may take a bit longer on startup, but it’s been so long since I had a small number of icons that I don’t really have a point of reference.

Your CPU, RAM, hard drive and operating system could make a difference . . . I’m using XP on a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo machine with 2 GB of RAM. Not a monster machine, but it’s no slouch.

    Best,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

This is a wondeful post. Thank you for sharing the 3D desk top software. I am a newbie and things like that mean much to me as my funds are limited due to not working for three years due injuries suffered in a bad fall.

This software will help me to seperate the different tools and websites I need by project, goals and responsibilities

I also enjoyed the video on the great father. That is exactly what the word needs more of now. Great parenting usually brings responsible and wonderful children.

Tell someone you love them today. The world will smile with you.

May God bless you and yours. Have a great and blessed weekend!
