Internet Marketing Resources, and a Request . . .
I don’t have anything too meaty for you today, but here are a half-dozen internet resources I’ve collected since publishing my “Internet Marketer’s Little Black Book” . . . I bet you find at least one of them to be useful in your own business!
Here they are:
BlackList Monitor – RepCheck — I’ve been behind the scenes in a lot of the “famous” internet marketing product “launches”. One common concern is whether or not your site has been blacklisted by the various spam-monitoring services. I recently ran across this “RepCheck” service that not only monitors blacklists for your server IP addresses, but also for your domain name(s).
Instant Messaging Manager – Meebo — Okay, this has been around awhile, but it’s surprising how many people don’t know about it! Not only does Meebo allow you to access the most popular Instant Messaging systems online (no software download necessary!), but it merges the “buddies” from several of your IM services into one list. Definitely a “must-see” for any of you IM junkies out there!
Voice broadcasting – VoiceShot — Record your outgoing message and upload your customer/prospect phone list, click, click and you’re off! It’s amazing how the internet has simplified communications these days! This service includes automated “do not call” list management and way too many features to list here, so go check it out. The cost for US calls is $0.12 per completed call (60 seconds or less). To the UK is $0.15, Australia, $0.16 . . . amazingly powerful service.
Visual Website Visitor Analytics – Crazy Egg — Cool stuff — gives you a “heatmap” of where your visitors are clicking on your site. Also allows you to break the clicks down relevant to other visitor information, such as their referring URL, search terms used, etc. This will definitely give you insight regarding the effectiveness of your web page.
HTML Scrambler — Hey, sometimes you just want to keep the honest people honest. It’s not going to help protect state secrets, but this HTML scrambler can be used for obfuscating email addresses, links, payment form code, etc.
CD/DVD Duplication/Fulfillment – Kunaki — I believe I read something about this outfit awhile back, but just recently checked them out. Nice service — not only can do they duplicate and deliver CDs and DVDs, but if you want they can take the orders for you (using THEIR credit card merchant account) as well.
I also found out about a script called “DVD Automator” that’s designed to dovetail with the Kunaki service — you take orders via PayPal and the customer data is automatically sent to Kunaki for fulfillment. They claim to make the selling/fulfilling of CDs and DVDs as simple as selling downloadable products, and I think they’re onto something . . .
Now I have a request for you — it’s simple . . . just leave a comment here and let me know what kinds of things you’d like to see me write about here. What kinds of solutions are you looking for? What “how to” knowledge would you like me to share here? Thanks!
Paul

If you want suggestions for things to write about, why not dry *due diligence*?
Specifically, resources that we can use to check out offers and those who make them, _honest_ product reviews, things along that line.
A lot of people advocate performing due diligence, but damned few of ‘em provide resources to do so.

greetings,
i normally use the ready-made autoresponder form tables for all my landing pages, etc. lately, there have been a lot of “image” templates available. is there anything out there that can embed AR forms into image templates? (jpg, gif, png, etc.) or at least simplify the procedure of making an AR image-based template?
a.a.p.

Easy to follow audio or video instruction showing how to apply the written stuff would be great.
I recently discovered cpanel and can now do things there confidently as a result of watching step by step instructional videos that really were for the beginner. Most people assume too much prior knowledge.
You could take a look at what I’m talking about here http://snipurl.com/discovercpanel
If you were to produce something like that you would have some eager buyers.

Would like to see useful newbie oriented solutions (autoresponder / squeeze page).
Also, would like your opinion on various existing tools (especially the ones that aren’t worth spending time on). For instance, there are many traffic “ponzi” type sites (example t2000ultra dot com) – do these work?
Safelists? Are they worth joining?
and so on….

Hey, great post. Why? Because you don’t have to be earth shattering when you blog, just provide interesting stuff (ooops, ‘content’
) that can be used. I had heard of a couple, but the voice broadcasting one I found interesting.
Thanks

Thanks for the gist on Kunaki. I recently learned of the script that automated the CD/DVD duplication service and look forward to using the service for all my future CD productions.
I’d appreciate if you could provide links to full service fulfilment houses that include printing with CD/DVD duplication.
For example, an upcoming launch has me marketing manuals, workbooks in addition to DVDs. I could us e the details of a good but reasonable fulfilment house both in the US and the UK if possible. Thanks

Your newsletter is one of a feww I do not delete as you always have really nice tools. One area that I like to learn more about is blog management.
Not necessarily info on all of the latest Wordpress plugins but how to incorporate some of the latest traffic generating tools into blogs. Maybe some tutorials would be great.
Thanks.

Good resources Paul. I would add a good transcription service to the mix as well as it’s a very valuable resource for internet marketers.
Keep up the good work!

Hi Paul
I’m a bit flumoxxed on the best way to use audio on sales letters to increase sales/conversions! I can’t seem to find any stuff on this (just this). It all seems to kind of assume you know exactly what is the best thing to say!

Good Information. Keep it up.

Great resources, Paul! Thank you for posting them!
I’d love to see more of the same. It’s links like this that I can quickly check out and implement that make the biggest difference in my business and web marketing plan.
All the best!

Paul,
Three subjects interest me at this time.
How to drive traffic to a site using free and paid methods. And how to use them effectively. The primary focus would be on using free methods to start generating traffic and use the profits from sales to add paid methods.
Second, finding a product to sell that hasn’t been sold by everyone on the internet. Something that can be promoted now & six months in the future. If I invest the time to create an effective sales campaign I would like my work to stand the test of time.
Third, writing good copy. The basics that can be applied to any product or niche. That way no matter what is popular I can use this skill to make money.
Thanks,
Craig

Implementing audio on web site – either in sales letters or part of product. Not so much on the creation of the mp3 (use audacity and microphone for that) but on the integration of flash buttons to use on the page. I’ve tried Impact web audio, but DON’T like the non-removable link back to their site from every button (considering it’s a PAID product and it’s NOT an affiliate link)… so looking for some simple flash buttons that work with any mp3 file.
However the trouble with LOTS of these things is that the audio file is auto downloaded at the same time as the page – that slows the loading of the page down considerably, and puts a wasted, heavy load on server if user clicks away. I would like buttons which can ALSO start downloading AFTER the user has clicked the play button (option to do both)
Now I know we can have audio streamed using a variety of sexy buttons from paid monthly services like byaudio.com etc… but their bandwidth allowances aren’t good, and what’s the point when we have such high bandwidth on our own servers?
That’s my thought
Cheers

Congratulations, Paul!
Is that all the new resources you’ve come upon since IMLBB?
Best of luck with your new “resource”!
Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the information. For audio on your site i use website jukebox. Don’t know any others, but this has worked well for me and its inexpensive.
Thats my 2 cents.
