Paul,

You are spot on. It is difficult enough to keep a crytal clear mind and a positive spirit and to enjoy the ladies of our lives as the Heavens intended. Our mothers, out sisters, our daughters and our wives would be very uncomfortable even driving by a place that is supposed to be a mansion of playing with women!

Kindly send me a private email and we will talk some serious business.

sincerely

PS: "Insider Resources" is a term that is meaningless to me, and I'm not convinced I need them. Maybe that's why my mind skimmed over that part. That term probably would have gotten the email deleted without reading it.

Blessings...

Hi Paul,
I wanted to comment on your question about the test on the Little Black Book line.

As I looked at the lines, the first one was very non threatening and simple to understand. The second line had (Biz Tools Brief) before it, which took my focus off the whole subject line - since I wasn't used to seeing that name and my brain got hung up trying to place it.

The next lines had even more word clutter in front of it, and the understandable part, "little black book" got totally lost in the soup.

I really liked the first line best, because you weren't promising anything, or promoting anything or using trick talk to entice me to open it. Just a simple "here .... whatever....is". I think that works.

I like your blog, Paul, and I like what you're doing with your business. It's very pleasant and helpful. That makes you memorable and approachable. I wish you great success. Keep writing.

Hi Paul,

some ideas on the reasons why the different headlines worked differently.

I agree with you regarding the curiosity of the winning headline.

the 1001 tools headlines may not have worked because the prospect may be thinking

i) a bit unbelievable are there really that many tools
ii) I don't want to be inundated with 1001 tools

on the other hand a little black book I can turn to that in times of desperation LOL. The little black book has been replaced by the cell phone, or myspace/facebook friends list.

The LBB worked for this generation of Internet marketers, we had to do dating with just the telephone.

P.S. Thanks for the little black book

No problem Eric -- a "border width" field has been added.

Paul,

Outstanding job on the button tool!

I'll let my clients and readers know about it.

One small change I'd like to recommend/request...

Can you add a field for changing the cellpadding on the border.

That way folks can make the boarder larger or smaller. (Which is a nice thing to test in many markets.)

Great job again!
